Osteopathy is a manual therapy that works with the joints, muscles and fascia of the body. It aims to restore the mobility and stability of the joints, so the body can heal itself. They use their hands to treat the body in a variety of ways, with a mixture of gentle and forceful techniques.
After just one hour we could already see a shift of Pak Kinta’s spinal alignment. In Juan’s opinion the problem is only muscular - so he is confident that Pak Kinta will walk independently again. When he stood up he could already stand much straighter. Wow, after just one treatment! And even arch his back a little. Now he has to practice and stretch everyday.
It was beautiful to see Pak Kinta’s whole soul light up - he enjoyed the treatment and also our company - we shared a lot of laughter. He was so grateful for Juan’s help, but unfortunately Juan no longer lives in Bali - he had to fly out the next day. But don’t worry Pak Kinta - we got you! We will be back with another therapist
