Ibu Komang told us that her husband just passed away after battling lymphatic cancer. Leaving her, their two children and a run-down family home behind. Now all the pressure is on Ibu Komang - she has to be a strong mother to her grieving children and be the sole breadwinner of the family - there is no time for her own grief. But these are not her main worries - her biggest nightmare are the calls from the local bank asking her to pay back the $180 loan - the family had to take out during Covid in order to survive.
Unfortunately the Happiness Foundation wasn’t able to help Ibu Komang much today - but we promised to be back!
